The See of Rome is the only Apostolic See with an unbroken succession back to its founders. Unfortunately, Antioch, Alexandria, Corinth, Ephesus, Jerusalem, Smyrna, etc., which were all founded by Apostles, had their Apostolic succession disrupted by international dissensions and external force; and Constantinople was not founded by an Apostle.
