The Society teaches that all holidays are of pagan origin, hence, not to be celebrated. They oppose Christmas trees based upon Jer. 10:3-4: “For the customs of the people are false. A tree from the forest is cut down, and is worked with an axe by the hands of a craftsman. Men deck it with silver and gold.” Yet verse 5 shows that this is an idol.
