The Watchtower Society teaches that all holidays are of pagan origin, hence, not to be celebrated. They oppose Christmas trees based upon Jer. 10:3-4: “For the customs of the people are false. A tree from the forest is cut down and is worked with an axe by the hands of a craftsman. Men deck it with silver and gold.” Yet verse 5 shows that this is an idol.
“The Golden Age of December 14, 1927, noted that Christmas is a pagan celebration, focuses on pleasures, and involves idol worship. The article made it clear that the celebration was not ordered by Christ and concluded with this pointed statement about Christmas: “The fact that the world, the flesh, and the Devil are in favor of its perpetuation and observance…is a final and conclusive argument against its celebration by those who are dedicated wholly to the service of Jehovah.” Not surprisingly, the Bethel family did not celebrate Christmas that December—or ever again!” God’s Kingdom Rules! (2014) p. 101

Interestingly enough, the Watchtower Society celebrated Christmas until 1927.
