Fisherman’s Ring
The “Fisherman’s Ring” is the official ring of the reigning pontiff. It is a signet engraved with the image of S. Peter in the act of fishing, and also the name of the pope. Apostolic briefs are sealed with it and it is broken at the pope’s death.
